The compact fluorescent lamp is ideal for decorative and free-burning applications. The opal outer bulb provides a particularily soft light. Because the dimensions are the same, ordinary light bulbs can be replaced by Osram DULUX EL CLASSIC lamps without any problem at all.

• Not  suitable for use with dc supplies, dimmers or electronic switches
