Returns

If you do not like a product or you have received the product damaged despite packing the goods carefully, you can send back the product within the cancellation term. Please also note our general terms and conditions of business and delivery. Here we would like discuss a few questions about "Returns":

Who pays the costs for returning the order?

To avoid unnecessary high delivery costs, we ask you to NOT send back the goods freight collect. We shall incur the costs of € 15.00 and more per package. In most cases, this is no longer in proportion to the value of the goods. What is much more important for you is that you save money because we assume the delivery costs if the value of the goods is € 40.00 or more and remove them from the credit amount. 

How do I send goods back?

It is best to pack the goods in the same box in which the goods were delivered. Ensure there is enough packing material and padding so that the product is not damaged during transport in the box.  The package must be sent back insured. Large letters, consignment of goods and small packages are not insured!

Free forwarding label
If you wish to return the goods, please call us or contact us by e-mail. We will send you a forwarding label as a PDF file to you by e-mail. Please print out the label, stick it on the package and take it to the post office. They will send the package back to us at the best price. This is also the most cost effective way for you.

Alternative
Send the package via a forwarding company of your choice (e.g., DHL) initially at your expense. If you frank the package online instead of directly handing it over to the post office, you can send the package even more cost effectively. See also www.eFiliale.de

What will be reimbursed if I return a package?

The costs for delivering the ordered goods to your address will not be refunded.

After "The Energy Saving Shop" receives the goods sent back, their condition will be checked. If there are no complaints, we shall provide a credit note plus the costs to send the goods back provided the value of the goods returned exceeds € 40.00. Otherwise the customer shall assume the costs for the return as it is regulated in the general terms and conditions.

However, if the product is sent back freight collect, only € 6.90 of the return costs shall be assumed in the case that the costs are assumed (value of the goods more than € 40.00). We will deduct the difference of the freight collect amount in the credit note. In the case of a freight collect return, if the value of the goods is less than € 40.00, we will deduct the entire freight collect costs from the credit note. Therefore, it is more expensive for the customer to send back a package freight collect.
